What is Christ's Gift Academy?

Christ’s Gift Academy is a Christian school located in the fishing village of Mbita, Kenya, on Lake Victoria. In response to the AIDS pandemic CGA was founded in 1997 to provide a quality education for the aids orphans and other needy children in the community. This school not only educates the children but also helps to meet their basic physical needs including food, clothing, medical assistance and other essentials.

There are currently more than 300 students in grades nursery through eight. As a Christian mission based on the truths of God’s Word, we recognize that God’s heart is to be “a father to the fatherless and a helper to orphans.”
