• In security line for flight to Lex. Spending the day with the staff at Southland Christian talking mult-site
• Overcast in Cincinatti. I hope Lexington looks brighter.
• Left my jacket on the last plane. If you find it I'll pick it up in CHS.
• Good but long day at Siuthland. Just landed in nastt weather in atl. Man I hope I'm not delayed
• I have lost the ability to type with my thumbs! I'm afraid that juggling with my eyelids may be the next to go.
• Feeling the need to cheat on my diet. What sounds good in ATL Concouse C?
• Delay #1: 15 minutes.

• Pray for Bell Shoals Baptist, lost their pastor and his son today in a plane crash. Forrest Pollock was a humble man and a great pastor.

• Jott disproves the theory that close is good enough. I'm actually headed to Summerville to meet with Phil's staff.
• Loved hanging with Smvl staff, now headed to what could be a MAJOR lunch for Seacoast.

• Dropped my wife off at the airport for a 7:40 flight to Dallas. So begins a week of bachelorhood.

• DLT is going loooong. This is an all meeting, all day event.
• Editing a new book proposal in the car until my daughter's game starts.

Racin' at Darlington

Yesterday Brittainy and I went with a friend from Seacoast to the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Darlington. I had been to one race several years ago, but this was a completely different experience. My friend is a chaplain for Dale Earnhardt Inc, so he got us behind the scenes for everything. We ate with the pit crews, went to the pre-race meeting with Martin Truex Jr's team, and watched the entire race sitting in the pits. I even watched part of the race while sitting on the pit wall about 30 feet from where the cars were running at 200 mph. We had a blast. Here are some pictures from last night.

• You might be a redneck if you celebrate Mother's Day weekend by taking your daughter to the race at Darlington Gentlemen, start your engines
• Back from men's group, trying to talk myself into mowing the lawn. Stoked about the race tonight. Me and my daughter watching from the pits.
• Grass cut, waiting in the drive through at Chick-fil-a. Ceasar chicken wrap, mmm.
• I'm sitting in Martin Truex Jr's pit watching the NASCAR race at Darlington. This is so cool.
